storyy i wrote.
All i could think of going into that classroom was boy was i in for it.. I slowly turned the knob on the brass door, i lurked for whatever was beyond the other side. When the door was opened i took tiny steps into the crowded classroom. Mrs. Whitner was writing what seemed like forever long algebraic equation on the chalk board. She didn’t even have to turn around to notice the shy new girl...

It’s sickening to know that we sit around on our computers, video games, watch our tv, and pretend everything is perfectly normal. Knowning that across in a place called haiti thousands are dead many are left stranded and without care. We all misunderstand the value of having running water, warmth, and medical care. I pray for those who have nothing left & those who have perished.

Today is such a dreary day….. Clouds have enveloped the once sky blue surrounding. The calming noise of droplets creating a song for sleep. I myself find it difficult to keep my eyes awake. When you think of rainy days you don’t picture the serenity of rain soothing your mind and sensing a pattern for dreaming.
